Fourteenth ColonyFounded in the year 1809, when the best, brightest, down, and dirtiest of New Orleanian society left the Earth, the Fourteenth Colony is a spacefaring collective. Unlike the Thirteen Colonies that formed the United States, the Fourteenth Colony is an independent nation. Citizens of the Fourteenth Colony consider themselves to be the last true Americans, whose destiny carried them from Louisiana to the frontiere sombre. Due to the time bending properties of relativistic travel, when the colonists returned to Earth in 2015, their calendars showed the year to be 1899. Currently, in the year 2024 on Earth, it is the year 1908 for our outpost in the Black Rock Desert.  |
