Black Rock French Quarter medallions commemorate the establishment of a new colony on Earth in the year 2022. The arc of Black Rock City is depicted in the center of the medallion, with the location of the colony at Esplanade and 2:15 marked by an inset amethyst. Around the arc is the motto of the Fourteenth Colony.
